RandyAudio Posted September 8, 2011 Report Share Posted September 8, 2011 Put In a viper remot start 2 way a few weeks ago it takes a resistor for the starter and pulled tach off the cam sensor. I have tried to use all the options for tach sens and voltage. But when it's first started in the morning it Trys starting by bumping the starter instead just running the starter till it starts also it has stuck the starter on till I went in and shut it down the remot start by pressing the brake. Anyone seen this and know what it takes to fix? How are you bypassing the transponder portion of the key? You will know it has a transponder in the key if the key shaft has a circle with a plus sign stamped in it. For a tach signal, try looking for a light blue/black wire located in a large harness on top of the motor on the drivers side of the engine, or you can try at a fuel injector. Good luck!
