rickyfromthe407 Posted September 12, 2011 Report Share Posted September 12, 2011 I sent in my broken Boss headunit, and got a choice of whether to be sent a replacement planet audio something trash. or get store credit equal to the value of it. I chose store credit since I just bought that really nice pioneer for $500! Check my build log; and i will add some pics in it when I receive it in the mail and get to installing it. But my question now; What do I do with the store credit? I don't know what I want! But I know it's burning a hole in my deep pockets! I was thinking about investing into a better alarm system, like a 2 way with remote start and everything. Right now I have an alarm in it, but the alarm is only keyless entry & it goes off if the door is opened. No shock sensor or remote start or anything fancy. Not two way. Was also thinking about cop scanner..but not really need one. But I don't think itd be bad to have. Don't have the 12v cig lighter port in my car though. Had to trade it for a switch! Throw me some ideas guys! If security isn't a major issue then idk. Eh, to be honest, security within the 30 mile radius of where I live isn't too bad for me. I live in an upper class part of town, so its quite rare that you hear about crimes.. But if I take the car somewhere It would be a good idea if i took it to say the mall or something... but i don't know.. I kind of liked the 2 way feature and remote start, since mine doesn't have it. But its not NECESSARY, i've gone a year without it and don't know how much longer I will have this car. I believe it might be like $209? I don't mind spending a few more $ on something, but I don't want to spend an extra 50. & If anybody wants anything from here. I could always have someone move this to the For Sale area and sell it for 175 to help somebody out.. But I am not sure yet; if I don't find anything, I might be able to try to sell it... It's just its under my account, so id have to buy it, have it ordered to me, then hope whoever wanted the item for the $25 discount still wants it in 3 business days when the product arrived. we will see.. So sometimes I get a bit of ground loop. But I know monster cables are known for being tight... What do you guys think?
