Scapelli21
Wassup ppl, I was wondering if I could get some opinions on whether or not I would be pleased with a switch...I was thinking a 15" BL fully loaded in a spec. box as opposed to MY 4 12" CVR's in 4cu. sealed? I was contemplating getting a ported box made for these, but my trunk opening is so small, it would have to be 2 seperate boxes screwed together (or something) or built in the trunk which I don't want because I need to be able to get to the tire if need be. It would be running off a Kicker Kx1200.1...any help would be appreciated or suggestions as to better/cheaper/LOUDER setups would also help. Would like a single sub setup. Sinosic
i would say the 4 cvrs will be louder, cause of the total cone area. but im a single sub kinda guy. a 18" bl loaded would pound with 1200 watts rms as long as its in a proper enclosure. i dont think you have the room for an 18". i could be wrong. fi recommends for a Ported box: 5-10 cuft @ 30-37Hz.
