i tried to adjust my amp gain today. i figured out i had to get it to 19.5 volts. when i played a tone cd i tried to adjust the output to 19.5 volts. nothing. the read-out on my voltmeter did not change at all. can someone help me?

Was it set to AC not DC?

Well it has to be on AC because a speaker output is an AC signal.

Well it has to be on AC because a speaker output is an AC signal.

o ok i gues i was doing it right then. i will try again tomorrow and see how it goes. the wifey is at work. thanks
