If you have a dual 2 ohm sub and an amp that runs down to 2 ohms could you put the + & - of coil one into the left channel of the amp and put the + & - of coil 2 into the right channel so you could run & 2 ohms or would you have to wire in series at 4 ohms?

run it in series. 2 ohm stereo is essentially the same thing as 4 ohm bridged (on the same amp) and you don't have to worry about matching the outputs.

Edit: I am assuming you mean run it 2 ohms stereo vs. 4 ohms bridged anyway. My assumption is you are talking about a 2 channel amp (or 2 channels of a 4 channel amp)

Thanks.

Yea, it's a 2 channel.

and it's late, i'm dumb...you wouldn't have to match the outputs anyway, it's only one gain knob :) But still no real difference between 2 ohm stereo and 4 ohm bridged. You would want to run a mono input regardless.
