Box Tuned To 23hz?

Both RE L-port calculator and carstereo.com says that my box needs to have 1.783 cu. ft. and be tuned to 22.76Hz (I figured doing 23Hz wouldn't hurt)

Will a box tuned to 23Hz would even sound good?

If anyone want to check it to make sure I got it right, I have 2 12" Cerwin Vega V-Max subs(but im doing separate box and port for each) specs on subs are:

Fs-28Hz

Qts-0.48

Qms-4.3

Qes-0.54

Vas-0.977 cu. ft.

Xmax-17mm

Cone area-70.8 sq. in.

I already have the box designed and everything, I just wanna make sure a box will sound good tuned to 23Hz before I build it.

I think you would have a pretty flat response, but you would lose shit tons of output.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

So then should I use the 20 sq in port on a 2.5 cu ft. box or should I use around 30 sq in?

I would download WINisd and spend a little time modeling up your subs and figure out which would work best considering what you are llooking for the subs to do. 30sq in of ports does seem a little small, but then again I have never used those subs. either way I would ditch the 23Hz idea. 30 is about as low as I would think of going for a sub box in a car.
