RooTxBeeR Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 I am looking for tracks that are 0db of individual Hz from 28-60, or a song with a slow sweep so you can easily Identify which is each Hz. When ever I would play songs in my last box and even my new, I always seem to get a big car response in the 50-55 range, which I am guessing is my resonate frequency, and when ever I play songs with low bass, 31-33Hz, tuning of my box, I get big response also. I want to see what frequencies do the most in my car, and see where my roll offs are as for what my playable range is. FroznBeavrBALLs Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 if u have an ipod, iphone, or any android smart phone you can download a frequency app. Then u can choose to play whatever hz tone u want in ur car. i think the app is free. Guest Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 get audacity, make your own tones. Quote
FroznBeavrBALLs Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 yeah i dont know about the nano... OH here's another idea. Im pretty sure most car audio stores, shops, have CDs with specific hz tone track. (for tuning reasons). maybe you could go to your local shop and see if they will burn u a copy. other than that i dont know where to find tracks. RooTxBeeR Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Posted September 20, 2011 I have audacity, didn't know you could do that. Will look tonight on how to do that, screw around a bit and see if I can figure it out. As for local shop, there's only one near me and I will not go back their, I don't even think he sets gains correctly on set ups hes does for people. Sine waveform, frequency to whatever you need, an amplitude of 1 is the same as 0db, duration to whatever you want Quote
