Port Noise Issue?

So i've been in a hurry trying to find the proper design for my box for 2 skar audio VVX 12's (1993 transam) but I had no luck, my dad went ahead and bought a pre-fab without telling me, I got home from school and to my surprise the box was in the car. I hooked my subs up to my hfi 100.4, one channel per sub wires in series and to my surprise this box gets fairly loud with the higher bass notes, it doesn't kill the lows like a custom box would but i'm happy with it for now, I do plan on building a much better box for my car with lots of port area if possible. The issue i'm having is port noise on the lower frequency songs, is there anything I can do to temporarily fix the port noise? that's the box, it gets loud on just about 60rms per sub, for slamfest I will be running about 2400rms for competition and about 1700rms for demos so it should be quite impressive for just 2 12's, we'll see what happens though

edit: the box is supposedly tuned to 36hz and it's about 1.35 cubic feet per chamber after all displacements, I tried inverting the subs but my hatch hits the motor , yes I know, prefab isn't the way to go but i'll be building my own box eventually.

Is there a divideing wall between those ports ? If not put a aero tube there. They are way to small

yeah it's seperate chambered, do you think I could possibly replace the top piece of the box and remove the dividing wall and run just one 4" or 6" aero port about 12" deep into the box?

Frozn..no...WAY too small port and probably tuned to 45.

That's what I would do. I would say lenghthen and widen existing but I m not sure if you can. Depending on the angles and depth of the sides

yeah there's not enough space to use the original ports and just modify them, if I were to modify this box I'm thinking about doing what you said just removing the dividing wall and existing ports, change the top piece, and run one aero port, i'm not sure as to wat size aero to use and how deep it should go into the box though.

Try a 6 aero port from parts express and mount it in and out of box so you can keep tuning low then cut it down a inch at a time till you like what you hear
