fiddyridr Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 I have a Rockford Fostgate T1000bd and I have it powering a JL 12w6.. Everytime I turn on my truck the amp turns on but the sub doesnt, but the sub will randomly turn on.. and when it does turn on it works just fine and it doesnt turn off. I dont why the sub doesnt turn on right away, all the connectings are hooked up.. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RooTxBeeR Posted September 22, 2011 Report Share Posted September 22, 2011 If your amp turns on, your subs should because they are directly wired to it. There must be some wire not connected properly. Make sure your + and - wires aren't touching anything besides the terminals they belong to and the + and - on the subs. Also make sure your grounds, power and properly bolted on. Another thing that could do it is a loose RCA.
