Vooloco Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 The 2 15's would be fi bl's and the 21 would be a 21 warden. Are the wardens even that good? And how much deeper would the bass be between a 15, 18, and 21? Substancial? Thanks Quote
Watch the bass Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 Sub´s want get deeper if them bigger, larger subs get louder. Llarger subs have a better db/watt rate, example here the BL subs db, so larger the sub so better the rate. Quote "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley

Watch the bass Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 (edited) 2 15s have more cone area than 1 21... You did the math? Or rule by thump? Edited September 22, 2011 by Watch the bass Quote "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley
kl0wn Posted September 22, 2011 Report Posted September 22, 2011 2 15s have more cone area than 1 21... You did the math? Or rule by thump? I just did the math, he is correct. It's not a HUGE difference, but 2 15s does have more. Quote 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz

Thanks guys!!! To figure out cone area... To figure out 1 15, take half of 15 which is 7.5. Multiply 7.5 together, then multiply it by Pi, (7.5x7.5 x 3.14) = 176.625, then multiply the final number by how many subs will be used. 2 15's = 353.25in^2 1 21 = 346.18in^2 Edited September 22, 2011 by kl0wn Quote 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
