98 civic dual alts with H/Os?

Ive been shopping alts recently and talked to two or three of the top known alt companies and am getting different info. I have based my whole power plan for my next build expecting to use two H/O alts (one in ac spot) to supply the power. Not I'm being told that will work from some people, and others are saying it won't work well with true h/o alts due to onu having a 4 rib belt, causing slippage problems.

Basically, when two or more alleged knowledgeable sources don't agree on if this will work or not I'm not sure which to believe. And thinking over it though, I've never actually seen a civic with dual (H/O) alts, just dual stocks. Anyone with info on this? Or heard of people upping their rotor/belt to a higher rib count with no issues?

derrick is planning on running duals on his, witch is similar to mine b18(his is better) but IT CAN BE DONE

also j00bles (i think thats how its spelled) has two on his civic, the same way that you have in mind

you will prob not be able to swap out the pulleys for a bigger belt/rib count because of the space we have to work with

WITH MY ohio gen 300A alt i have a alternator made with extra ribs, BUT I HAVE TO run the small belt.....it DOES SLIP at start up but goes away after a second or two, also if ur driving and u turn on ac or heater the belts slip for a second other wise it good

See I know joobles has his done up, but two stock alts bs two h/o I could see outing more strain on tw engine. Im planning a bb18c swap at some point...what's you're belt rib count?

I'm not too worried about startup slip, just of course want the least slip I can get while still being reliable and putting out yeh POWA.
