adam6604 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Share Posted September 29, 2011 so i was showing my system off to my cousin who hasn't heard it since i wired down to .5, even then he hasn't heard it in a month or two.. i was playing it with windows up at his house at like... what id say 60% of what its capable of, you know hes a little impressed but nothing crazy . just sounded good.. when my other cousin's boyfriend showed up, and being a asshat like he is, started dissing my system, i really have only talked to him once before lol, so i asked him ok what do you have?... he replied saying i have TOP OF THE LINE 10" subs, i said.. ok nice what brand.. and ofcourse he doesnt remember blah blah blah, little back and forth shit talk, so i told him hop in the passenger side, so he did.. i opened my door and put on a 40hz tone with the bass knob completely down, that's when he said his two 10s were doing around 155-156db. i said damn this is all i can do ( ha ha ) then as he was moving towards the door handle, i cranked the knob up and burped him around a 141-143 ( haven't metered with door open ) and he almost shit his pants, bailed out HAHA. then he told me i must be doing atleast a 160, i told him he was full of shit and went home. haha some peoples children! lol sorry for the long read, i thought it was funny lol Quote Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi.
