Have you downloaded any type of sub calculator? Many times if you go their website they give you useful info for your sub.

Don't buy them they will disappoint you and you wished you never bought any of those subs. Just putting my 2 cents.

i installed these = Infinity KAPPA 692.9I 6x9 in a ranger not to long ago. The quality of the sound is better than kenwood or pioneer or even polk audio (tried them too). If you want to be loud i think those speakers are the way to go. check out this video and they where under powered at half the power. After wireing everything and using the DD-1 to set the gains, honestly they are loud enough for me because they make my ears ring if i play them too loud. pushing them with a RF 400.4 bd which is a perfect match.

you know, mine did that once. I checked the ground and bammmmm it was a bad connection. It hasn't done that again. I notice mine is really sensible to ground connection.

Mine was a pyle marine it was a bass machine but instead of 400 watts it said 4000... it blew up shortly after hooked it up i think it was wired wrong by me... learned a lot after that amp though.....

Ordered mine and was pushed a month more due to material (back ordered, Magnets or something) Scott called and even asked me if i wanted to cancel for the wait. I waited and the sub was perfect. Then re coned a sub and it was damaged during shipping. sent it back and Fi fix it at no charge. My point is they have Awesome customer service! Don't think twice when buying from Fi Audio.

I was probably the responsible one for posting the P&S thread on other section. I haven't used as many roofing products as Steve but surely P&S. Based on the information provided in this thread that undergoes more in depth ("scientific")results, I understand even clearer why P&S is inferior than any other dampening products. Like Rep John from Second Skin stated, you basically need shit loads of p&s to achieve the same outcome as minuscule product of a brand name company. This has been stated enough by John and he is right. Personally after trying second skin and comparing it to p&s, i wont ever use p&s again. Why? because the results speak for itself. If you like to crank up the volume and still hear rattle somewhere because you used p&s and still come here and say is a really good product? NO it is not. want your system to perform at its best? well then crap, dampening is the foundation of a seriously clean sound system!

strange Man, many things can be wrong. Batt connections usually give you that kind of behaviuor because there is enough power to turn certain things alive and then nothing. However, many times the connection is sufficient to start the car... have looked at the end connections after the bat? what year is it?

this is more likely what i was expecting to read. I know those amps are underrated big time, this is why i think one of those little amps can handle my 2 fi x 10' subs. they can only handle 600 rms both...

They give themselves pay raises in the middle of a recession while they cut budget for teachers, firefighters and police officers. By the way, there pay raises isn't a 25 cents per hour is more like 5% of their salary, some make $245,000 a year..... you do the math. Living in Cali is very expensive but we also have many programs that can get you off your feet.
