I cant really see a tank blowing if its used correctly most of the tanks we use have been used on simi trucks and heavy equipment for years. now if the tanks defective or used negligently "like used well above its max psi rating, rusted in side, manufactures defect" i could defntly see the posability of it exploding from the bass. Big P Posted December 29, 2006 Report Share Posted December 29, 2006 im not sure on those mines way back near my tail gate. maybe the bass would weaken the regulator causing it to snap off. But i don't see that happening if its properly installed. Most incadents with bass and air im sure would be more because of user error then the containment devise. ive seen peoples regulators getting old and coming open from bass and bumpy roads tho.
