spldreams Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 not trying to hate on you in anyway but are you sure you are ready for a 160? what is the loudest system you have built so far? doing a 160 isnt something that just happens. there is no pre set formula. do you have the funds to back it up? this type of goal isnt usually started by a random post on a forum.you need the experience and the time and dedication aswell.

Prob would need alot of cone area and big power, but wouldnt have to, you just dont see to many 160s with little cone area and little power and that would most likely be the most difficult way. I'm not worried about the money part cuz i know it takes alot and been told that as well..but its been a long time and plus ive kinda forgot how much material it takes besides the power setup and the deadening part..so i have the experience and always willing to learn more just like the next guy or girl and i definitely have the dedication. Plus, its a goal too. cuz i havent seen a chevy truck as loud as i want mine..so a milestone definitely.
