Blackedout Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 This looks like it'll be a cool build. I would try to put that double din in the dash. Probably be less work than incorporating it into the center console. The dash is relatively flat, might have to get rid of the ash tray (or what looks to be an ash tray) below the iso-din to make it work, but it doesn't look like it would be that hard. Nice work on the truck itself so far. Looks like it needed a little TLC. Trunk Build Log
sqsux Posted October 26, 2011 Author Report Posted October 26, 2011 maybe the coolant temp sensor is what is wrong with my truck my gauge checks when i start up and my heat works (proving the thermostat isnt stuck) but i could drive across the country and never register any temp That would be the sender not the ect. NUCKIN FUTS Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 I would definatly put the radio in the dash theres plenty of room just have to do some cutting and moving. You can keep the ashtray and all in place just have to carefully heat and modify the air duct behind the dash for depth reasons.
