big 3 searched no answers (help)

ok this is my 1st post so hello to all , ive been all over the net looking for this big 3 issue i got . well i have a 2007 hhr and the battery is located in the trunk the alternator is a stock alt. and there is 3 power wires running out of the alt one is running thru the outer fuse box one i dont where its going one back to the battery do i need to just replace the one ruuning back to the battery ? and if so we are talking 17 ft run should i run 2 inline fuses? just need to try to get this completed asap as im killing my car with electrical issues. running a kicker 1500.1 and a rockford 400.2 0 gauge power wire and a Kinetik KHC2400 battery and a stock 115 amp alt, i need the big 3 but please help with suggestions on a trunk mounted battery tia

yes the one that runs back to the battery, you dont NEED to fuse but a lot of people like to fuse that line.

ok another question is my capacitor really needed some say yes others say no if no could i get a answer y

no it isnt needed. if you have a bigger AGM battery and the big 3 done.. lose the capacitor.. the reason they are bad for your electrical system is they work off a push pull charging system meaning they charge up and drain in a matter of seconds which makes your alternator work even harder.. as the battery it charges in differnt cells holding the overall charge longer

Fuse between any potential power source and any potential ground out point. People who don't fuse that line are like people driving around without insurance >> tarded.

make sure u fuse all batts @ the positive connection,and the more grounds you have (strut towers,body,seat belt....etc ) are gonna help truthfully that 2400 should laugh @1500 watts grounds dont need to be fused tho
