Bigsix Posted October 18, 2011 Report Share Posted October 18, 2011 So yesterday I picked up a little scorpion digi volt meter to mount up in the jeep....it only has 2 wires coming off of it, red and black. The package says it automatically shuts itself off..... First question= I dont understand how it will automatically turn itself on and off if I wire itdirectly to a battery....will it automatically shut off?... And second, where should I wire it in? battery up front, the rear kinetik? I got it brand new in the package for 5 bux, so i figure its worth a shot... when yours were in and working though, just run hot to battery positive and ground out black? and it worked as it should? auto on and off? I was figuring that Id have to switch it, but as I was reading the package it stated it automatically turned itself on and off....but Im sure I have and old fog light switch or something laying around ill throw that on it just to play it safe.
