Pioneer IMPP SUBS

I have some Pioneer ts-w304c. They are a cheap thrown together system but they can really hit hard. i have them wired to a sony xplod 1000 watt 2 channel amp but i am cheap and the only other subs ive had were some kicker CVRs and they were good but had to get rid of those. but these thngs are in great shape. they are in a sealed box at pioneer's specs for a sealed box. but has anybody else had any experience with these subs i know for me they are great. but what i do wanna know is if i can wire in parallel and bridge the amp. would this damage the subs or amp or is the way i have them set up now good. 1 sub per channel

you need to know the resistance of each coil. wiring in parallel will cut that number in half (im assuming these are single coils). take that number and find out what the lowest ohm load can be presented to the amp while bridged.

well then just read the specs. what will your final ohm load be? is the amp stable at that ohm load? what will the power output be and what is the power handling on the subs? all those specs should be listed from the manufacturer.

you already know how to do the hard part. now do the easy part and go read your owners manual. no one here is going to know the specs of a "1000w sony" amp.
