loganberry Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Anyone semi local to me that can fix amps? I got 2 decent amps worth fixing. The first is a smaller power alpine 500-600 watt I believe but I love that amp, turns on fuses are good no protection light just no output...my drunk cousin spilt water on it after a concert I think and just went down the shutter sence. Second is a Kenwood amp and works 100% fine to my knowledge except I pushed too hard and broke off the copper plate for the 12v side so I assume you would have to open the whole thing up and replace the whole piece or whatever but last time I used it, it worked fine. Now Is there a reputable member on here that won't charge me more than the amp is worth to fix it like Joe. 00sdime00 but he's out on work I think. If you think you can do it reply and we will start talking I guess you don't really need to.be local cause they fit in flat rate boxes I just want someone who knows what there doing and is cheap. The kenwood i know for a fact is just a simple fix cause i know it still works just needs the copper extended back out and the alpine has some toasted mosfets i think im not sure though i havnt even opened it up to see.
