HELP PLEASE gain matching amps

So i have 2 kicker zx1000.1 and would like to gain match them. i dont have an o-scope or a dd-1. I have a chart that shows how to set the gains with a DMM. Just wondering if thats a good chart to go by also how would i know where 3/4 of my volume is on my head unit? I got a pioneer deh-8300ub. any help please?

edit: would i divide the max volume by .75 to the 3/4 volume?

Any help? Just wondering if im doing this right. and would it matter where my voltage is sitting at? cuz at idle i seem to have a idle at 15.6. That number seemed wrong to me both i tested both batteries and both read the same number

edit: i could drop the voltage down if i turned everything on like lights highs, defrost, a/c etc. and that would drop it down some

why not just strap them. Then whatever you set the gains on one with be the same on the other. Was ur question about matching the gains on them or just setting them generally?

It's about matching them cuz kicker amps are not capable of being strapped together... Got both these amps before knowing to much about this car audio stuff. I am still very new and learning something everyday

oh ok i gotcha. I didnt know they couldnt be strapped. i guess you might just need to find someone with an oscope or something similar to set the gains at the same time. Thats all i can think of. ha

any other help on gain matching? or should i just use my gut... i am still new to car audio this is why i ask
