The Big Oki Posted November 10, 2007 Report Share Posted November 10, 2007 Hi, this is about my "TERROR" car what was invented 2003 to produce just big SPL scores. I was never really proud of it, bc it became a kind of a trailer queen. But I won a lot of titles and records in dB Drag with it in the past, and in 2003 (4 years ago!), I had a highest score of 162,3 dB and went as the loudest Super Street 1-2 guy to the world finals and got beaten by 5 cars what are in a few tenths dB range louder than me, haaha, what a pity hu? I never cared bc. I had my fun and I am still the only one who brought so much times cars over the sea by himself. One year even two cars (my Ü2X also in 2004). I had several setups up to 16 "cheap" woofers and levels up to 163,3 dBs. Always remember, I basically never worked on the SPL abilities since 2003, but it still was enough to win by changing the inserts of the box. So a very low work with great turnout. (anyways I have a lot to do on other projects). I still like the work and affords I put into that car, but as you all know, I like Music and the competition also. But Music and is always a step in front. So look here about my setups in that little red car (its a kind of a Panda with cargo area). Looks shitty, drives shitty, IS SHITTY ! But shitty loud also And you will see that I also used my high quality Zapco Stuff to even just produce SPL.That is such a great material what lives in both world. Thats what I need ! I even put cheap subs (my Sonys) in to show that they can do good SPL also. Its all about the install. But of course, at some point you need better stuff... Since then I didnt care about the spl, just played around a little in some classes and with some equipment to satisfy sponsors The highest so far was 163,3 with the many sub configuration you see in the pics. Done with about 30 K Watts. As I said, basically for the last 3-4 years I did not spend much work on the SPL side. No need for that, was enugh to win some german titles.
