Guest
your box seems like a pseudo-6th order because of the way you closed off the opening a little bit. to the other experienced box builders, wouldnt this fuck up the response somewhat? StrongmanDesigns
that's a pretty standard 6th order series tuned. I'm very interested to see how the AQ's perform in there.
burzendowski
The pictures do not show the front panel of the box. Theres a front panel with a port that passes into the cab. It bolts on to the lip you see in the pictures above. The subs do not fit through the port, doing it this way i can easily mount the subs. Heres a picture of the box design. burzendowski
nice work...love how the paint turned out on your pods n voltrometer... did u use a gun?? i like the wood stain... def different.... and is it a 4th order BP box? This is a 6th order design. The paint on the tweeters and volt-tray is just aerosol laquer. 3 coats of black and 3 coats of clear. I wet sanded the black before i cleared them. I just heat up the cans with hot-warm water it helps the paint lay out and the can spray better. Thanks for the complements
burzendowski
How do those AQ mids and highs sound? Im interested to know since they are super cheap, and nobody has done a good review on them yet I love them, Im not an SQ guy by no means lol, but they get very loud and keep up with the 18s very well. For the money you cant beat them. The only down fall is they lack midbass being a midrange speaker.
