And let me tell you, you can put a MASSIVE alt in this vehicle for being such a small engine. Looking forward to more pics. ah good to know. Did you have a hard time installing it in your GTI? (I think they have the same engine) With the placement of the alt, it seems like it would be a bit difficult to swap alts. but i guess when the times comes I will have to find out lol Team Bass-Hz
enemyofsilence Posted January 6, 2012 Author Report Posted January 6, 2012 I didn't have a router so cut my holes using a jigsaw. They look ugly but the subs cover that up. Plugged the screw holes up and sanded the box smooth. Ill try to get some pics of the finished box tomorrow. I sanded the edges and caulked up the box. I will be running the rca's in my car tomorrow and getting the box wired up and ready to put into the car. So hopefully she will be ready and running by Sat! Team Bass-Hz

I ran my rcas, fuses, and wiring in my car today as well. Finally ready to hook up all my gear and put them into use. Team Bass-Hz

enemyofsilence Posted February 21, 2012 Author Report Posted February 21, 2012 Its been a while since I updated this. finished up front Wired up my amp to 0.5ohm and the subs love it. I cant turn it up too much though, I still havent done my big 3 I sealed up the subs cause they were leaking air at first. Guess i cut the holes too big Thats it for now. I will have to get some vids soon and finish up my wiring. For now, she is sounding awesome Team Bass-Hz
