(2) Fi BL 12" or (2) Fi SSD 12" subs?

Recommended Posts

I can't decide between the two and money IS a factor. So would it be worth it to go for the BL's?

It would be worth the extra money. and If you are going to run them at full power you are going to need electrical upgrades. Big 3, Upgraded battery, 1/0 everything.

So being a first timer here I should probably just go with the SSD's..?

Edit: I do not know what amp to get either. So if you guys could help me out that would be great. :)

I'd go with the BLs cause I always want it louder. Bls more room for power upgrades. IMHO

The only problem with that is there is nearly a $300 difference in price just alone for the subs. I would have to get a more expensive amp and do all sorts of electrical upgrades.

If you're using a solid 1500 rms amp, i would go with the SSD. Between 1500-2000 rms watts will need to upgrade to the BL's.

you wouldn't have to get a more expensive amp and electrical upgrades, etc. i think what he's trying to say is if you go with the Bl's you've got room to upgrade in the future if you decide to.

i think you can't go wrong either way. but as a broke college kid, if it were my money, i'd go with the SSD's for the interest of saving money and worry about upgrades later. like adding more subs if you had the room.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

True, but from past exp I can til you that once the bug bites you you'll be upgrading everything. Nothing wrong with any of your subs you picked. You can't lose either way.
