(2) Fi BL 12" or (2) Fi SSD 12" subs?

I'd go with the BLs cause I always want it louder. Bls more room for power upgrades. IMHO

The only problem with that is there is nearly a $300 difference in price just alone for the subs. I would have to get a more expensive amp and do all sorts of electrical upgrades.

you wouldn't have to get a more expensive amp and electrical upgrades, etc. i think what he's trying to say is if you go with the Bl's you've got room to upgrade in the future if you decide to.

i think you can't go wrong either way. but as a broke college kid, if it were my money, i'd go with the SSD's for the interest of saving money and worry about upgrades later. like adding more subs if you had the room.

Nothing at all wrong with the SSD's...if you are working on a more limited budget go with them. You do not have to sink as much money in electrical upgrades.

Working on my first car audio build ever!

Currently have:

- 1996 Lexus LS400 sedan

- Diablo Hellfire Proto Amplifier

- (2) 12" Fi Bl Subwoofers

- Vented subwoofer enclosure from Perfect Soundz

- Installed by Perfect Soundz

Needs:

- Battery: probably XS Power 12V 2400

- "The Big 3"
