Would Adding Another Battery Be Safe?

I am getting a new system soon and i want to run this amp at 2ohms on a fi bl 18"

I drive a 96 isuzu trooper and i never had an extra battery hooked up with my previous system but im thinking of adding a yellow top in the back or a kinetick will my stock alt be ok running this amp with 1600 rms. And has anyone heard anything or have experience with this amp?

get a knietic 2400....I need a new alt asap...I got a 70amp alt to and I got close to 3,200rms...you need another battery cuzz that alt won't last long

and your alt is still gonna die...
