CleanSierra
You can do the center, just make sure you add the numbers up and that the total port length is what you calculated for the tubing you wanted. So make sure your opening is 3.5 inches obviously, and that each port side is 9.5 and 9.5 instead of one big long piece that is 19". Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. BGGD_GMC
ok gotcha thats how i pictured it in my head that i would have to split the 19" in half for each side but wasnt sure if it would change the tuning... Thanks a bunch man really appreciate it!!
BGGD_GMC
Here it is witch one will be better for a cut through? Edited November 7, 2011 by BGGD_GMC
MrSkippyJ
if you are splitting the port down the middle, the middle should be bigger than where it does into each chamber. I'm not sure of the math however. MrSkippyJ
i know, the port splits, not the box. 1/2 of the port goes one way and the other 1/2 goes the other way. However, you have the port having the same port area the whole time. I'm guessing each split of the port needs to be 1.75" rather than 3.5" but I don't know the math that well. Guest
does no one ever check these pictures to make sure its right? if you have the port on either side of the box, you need to put in the number 3 for # of common port walls. if the port is in the middle, do 2. this tells the calc how many sides of the box is touching the port.
