Sinosic Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 it will go away its more than likly the glue on the voice coil. after awhile the glue becomes like a crusty shell and wont smell anymore. every new sub i have owned smelled almost like beef jerky. but went away. i would make sure your gain is set right, and not to push it to hard once it starts to smell. i turned my shit off whenever i smelled the glue burning. but only had to do that about 3 or 4 times and it stopped. He also has the sub and he said his smelt alot when he got his..
