wmrcs Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Can they safely handle 1000w rms daily? I'm buying an SA-8 and my amp does 600w rms @ 2 ohm and 1000w at 1 ohm so I need to know if I should order the D4 or D2 sub. Quote E34 540iT/6
LoudBimmer Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 they could, but you need to be really careful and have a properly built enclosure Quote

JPagan Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 I would get a d4 so you can run it at 2ohms. I'm sure it could take 1000 watts thermally but not mechanically. Quote

Yea that's what I'm thinking. 600w rms is probably plenty for them daily anyway and then I have room for another D4 later on maybe Quote E34 540iT/6
