Can they safely handle 1000w rms daily? I'm buying an SA-8 and my amp does 600w rms @ 2 ohm and 1000w at 1 ohm so I need to know if I should order the D4 or D2 sub.

they could, but you need to be really careful and have a properly built enclosure

What would a properly built enclosure be for this? Smaller?

I would get a d4 so you can run it at 2ohms. I'm sure it could take 1000 watts thermally but not mechanically.

Yea that's what I'm thinking. 600w rms is probably plenty for them daily anyway and then I have room for another D4 later on maybe
