Anyone who says a DD-1 isnt necessary is also saying an O-scope isnt necessary. Anyone who says an O-scope IN THE MINIMUM isnt necessary, is a noob. Forget the DD-1 for a minute, any reputable installer will at LEAST use an O-scope. Those guys in that thread are clowns. Hard headed clowns. With the release of android 4.0 there were alot of problems with app. New version is out, looks nicer and millions of bugs fixed. Trying to implement a good system for showing wiring diagrams. Also wedge box calc is nearly done. Has been a nightmare. Hows everyone finding the app? Also would like to thank everyone for the support and feedback. Nearly at the 1500 downloads. melb-bass Posted January 17, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 Ohm calculation is correct and wiring diagrams are coming. The ohm calc is per speaker not per coil. So if your subs are dual 4 and u wire sub in parallel, total load is 2ohm for each speaker. So in my ap you will have 2 speakers at 2 ohm a speaker. P=1 S=4 thats what yout amp sees.
