well i do plan on buying another battery before i hook anything up and i want to upgrade the alt after a little bit aswell.

do all that first. talk to mechman about a ho alt for your car and look for some batts to run (upgrade your stock under the hood as well) and might want more than 2

i just bought the subs yesterday and i dont plan on even being ready till April. i just bought them so i could force myself to do this and learn this stuff already.

250a+ alt, good agm batt up front & 2 or 3 in back, big 3 upgrade, 50ft of 0awg wire, custom double baffled ported box, & set gains with an oscope or smd dd-1... think thats about it... .

If your looking to keep your sub stage and amp DC I would suggest the 3.5k. Requires minimal electrical upgrades i.e. 1 800cu in batt in rear and upgraded batt up front. Your gonna want to upgrade the alt as well but is not mandatory out the gate as long as you follow guidelines set.
