the length of the port is 28 inches?? why in the diagram you show is 22 inch only??

port length is measured down the center

.75 (front thickness) + 14" + 2.25"( distance to center before 90degree turn)+ 2.25" (distance to 2nd port wall)+ .75(port wall thickness) + 8" + 2.25" (end correction factor for slot port boxes which is half the ports width(4.5"/2=2.25"))= 30.25 effective port length

ull want a brace from top to bottom that that goes on the left of the sub to brace bottom of box and top(baffle)

so i will always divide the port width by 2?? but if i put 22 inches port length in torres box calcu the net value will become 6.5 cu ft.. so the design of loudNlow87 is 6.5 cuft not 6 cu ft??

for a slot port, yes because its using an internal box wall as a port wall and the box wall extends beyond the physical port wall.

28 is the input for port length for this box using torress calc

14+8+.75(port wall thickness) = 22.75 physical port length

the green box should say 30.25 for 6cuft@33hz
