OldsBoomer
It looks like you already extended the port and remember that with the faces angled it will be a bit lower Quote Suburban Coming Soon
ChrisLun
So that is correct, I can extend the ports like that and I should work....never built a wall so.... loudNlow87
Is it the same distance from the port wall to back wall (horizontal) as it is from one port wall to the other (vertical)? ChrisLun
Yes, it is...Using www.12volt.com slot port calculator, in order to get to 37 hz, it says I need my port to be 12 inches long....Now is that 6 inches top and 6 inches bottom, or 12 inches top and 12 inches bottom? loudNlow87
The vertical width should be twice the width of the horizontal since both chambers are exiting to one vent. Or the horizontal widths should be half the vertical. Which ever way you did the math to get the tuning. loudNlow87
Say it calls for a 4" port width. You would keep the port 4" from the back wall. Where they connect to one port would be 8" so each chamber will see a constant 4". ChrisLun
The horizontal is 3 3/4 deep while the vertical is 8 1/4 both sides..... The port is off the wall 4 3/16 rear, and the same off the floor and top Quote 2006 Dodge Charger (2) Kinetic 3800 (1) DC Power 270XP (4) T1-12D4 (1) T2500BDCP (2) T400.4 7.5 cubic ft.
