TigerTony Posted November 26, 2011 Author Report Posted November 26, 2011 I redid the Box Design and I got to this Are these correct and is that a good frequency to tune the port to? Quote
loudNlow87 Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 No. You've went a bit too narrow on that port. Skip the double baffle for now. If you're building a slot port, the port height is going to be 1.5" smaller than the box height due to wood thickness. So the port height should be 14.5". You're also going to need about twice the port area you have. So make the port width wider until your "Port Area" falls somewhere in the "Port Area Range". Is 16 X 22.5 X 13 your absolute maximum dimensions to work with? 412 CVX Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 When you say Sub Back and port back, you mean Port and Sub facing the Trunk? And PS. Where could i buy speaker Terminals? I'm not sure where in my town i can. Parts-express.com Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.

TigerTony Posted November 29, 2011 Author Report Posted November 29, 2011 I'm pitching this idea but I wanted to Experiment with two subs in a single chamber. Can someone tell me the advantages of a single chamber multiple subs versus a split chamber for two subs? and both are ported. Quote
loudNlow87 Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 The advantage? You know they both have the exact same volume and tuning. Disadvantage? May not be as solid as one with a divider, but bracing always take care of that so.. I don't really think there is one. If i was building one box for 2 15's would it be better to have a divider or one chamber? Quote
