412 CVX Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 i've had atruche design me a box before and it looked good. i'm really curious as to why he chose half inch for this. really wouldn't do half inch with an SA-8. it's a monster sub in a tiny little package. even though you added the brace, i still forsee plenty of baffle flex happening. 3/4 would have been much sturdier, and probably louder because it could stand up to the internal pressure much better.
