It's your distributor....pull that bitch out and check the pin that holds the gear on, If that shit goes you are fucked because it operates your oil pump and if it goes it will lock your motor up tighter than a catholic school girl on prom night. Nine8SST Posted November 25, 2011 Report Share Posted November 25, 2011 Hopefully....the gear on the end of your cam spins a gear on the distributor which connects to the oil pump shaft. There is a roll pin holding the gear onto the distro that likes to shear off......if your oil light comes on shut the motor asap or you'll be screwed.
