gxjane Posted November 17, 2007 Report Share Posted November 17, 2007 i seem to be having power issues. for the past few days i have had my subs going in and out. but today i blew my two 30 amp fuses in my amp. when i went to get new fuses i put the new fuses in and turned on my subs and played a song and blew those immedately. im not sure why this is happening. any help would be appreciated. gxjane Posted November 17, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2007 yea i got a six farrid cap. it reads like 14.2 volts. is it too much for my system. i got 2 kenwood kfc w3011 and a kenwood kac 9103d 1800 peak watts (900 rms) my car is a 98 ford windstar. and i have a kole audio 6 ferrid cap? FCsteve Posted November 18, 2007 Report Share Posted November 18, 2007 How would you turn the cap down? i dont kno what specific capacitor you are workin with. but on the one i had it was just a little hole in the top of the capacitor that had a screw inside that you could turn with a screwdriver. turning it changed the voltage up or down as needed. 610EUROs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
