1988JimmyRE
Do the big 3 in 0 Gauge Upgrade your front battery and see how it is then, if the voltage still drops add a second battery if it still drops.. just go from there i like xs power batteries with batteries get the biggest you can Quote BUILD LOG-->1988 S15 Jimmy V8 4x4 2 15" RE Audio<--BUILD LOG
loudNlow87
What vehicle is it? You're still going to get a decent amount of drop. That amp's a beast and it's hungry. Jmoney18
yep do the big 3 in 0 gauge wire for sure, cheap upgrade and it helps a lot surprisingly. i've got a sundown saz 2500 for sale if your interested and 2 batteries.. 100 per but let me know , just trying to help ya out. Make sure you run 0 gauge power wire, ground all that ... If you decide to go with XS look up what group number fits under your hood but you'll most likely want 1 or 2 bats if your running 3k rms Quote "This next song goes out to everyone within a 5 block radius"
Hadec
I have a 96 Lexus sedan. So I will do the big 3 in 1/0 Gauge Power / Ground Wire? And when they say 12v, 14v, 16v... Is that the size of the battery? Will this batt work? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/XS-Power-D1200-12V-AGM-Battery%2C-Max-Amps-2600A-%252d-3000W-.html Edited November 26, 2011 by Hadec Quote Working on my first car audio build ever! Watch the bass
3 K-watt´s mean complete power, ground and Big 3 in 1/0 gauge, you will be fine with a D3100 under the hood, if it would be to less you can add a 2. batt later (XS will have a powersale early next year) and dont forget to fuse your wires. Jmoney18
Yep 50 feet of 0 gauge wire will be enough. You'll need power wire, ground wire RCA"s, remote and big 3 you'll need 3 runs... there's many tutorials on this forum on how to do the big 3. Like the other guy said make sure you fuse your power wire and when doing your ground scrap away paint so you get a nice connection Edited November 26, 2011 by Jmoney18 Quote "This next song goes out to everyone within a 5 block radius"
loudNlow87
Bunch of 0ga, a ~17ft remote lead, RCA's and some ~12ga speaker wire.
