right spot now? RE SE with MT basket?

alright so i dont know if im posting this in the right spot cause the other one got deleted earlier but my buddie gave me an RE SE to mess around with i took it out to see how it was wired up but then i noticed that it had an MT basket is that possible? i wired it up and it worked fine but isnt the Mt basket and motor bigger than the SE ?

Nope, the se had the 12 spoke basket before it went to Chinese made basket. I have 2 se basket that are used on the MT, and many other subs from other companies

Edit: and as being possible to have a different basket on a motor, I can reconed that sub in a 18 in if I wanted to. That's one thing about subs, they can be reconed to any size(on most motors/magnet) and with different basket as long as the bolt pattern on the motor matches on the pattern on the basket.

oh sweeet thanks dude i didnt know that i always thought that they were the black baskets only thanks dude and could i recone it to an 18 if i bought a basket that matched up? and would it have more power?
