chuchunesme
I was wandering through the local Goodwill when I came across a box with a 10" RF Punch and a Punch 100z2 mounted to the back. I got the whole thing for $25 and it works. The amp is missing the end caps but still, that setup for $25 I couldn't pass it up. Anyone have any experience with one of these, what will they really put out and how low can they be ran bridged? Just curious, I was thinking about using it in my work truck if its decent enough. jfoodstamp
That amp is some where around a 2000 model year. That amp will push prob about 200 watts and can run 2 ohm bridged. I sold them back then and they were built really well and one of the first years Rockford went into Best Buy and Crutchfield. You did good with your purchase. RooTxBeeR
Ya, quality buy, early RF is AMAZING. I would love this amp for a low power comp set. Edit: Wow, lovethe 25x2 @ 4 ohms with .05THD I know what the amp is rated at, I also know Rockford is usually quite a bit under rated so I was hoping someone could tell me if these were a lot or just a little under rated. Thanks for the help guys, I know I came up on this deal. I was surprised to see it sitting in a Goodwill store in the first place.
