that wassss a long time ago, my dad was a carpenter/electrician/group manager for hatteras yachts and helped build and design for some of the biggest names out there includin Earnhardt's yacht (was a really cool guy). He used to get all the left over scraps of beautiful cherry and mahogany and plexi that sometimes were of better quality than actual scraps. Needless to say, i grew up learning a lot about carpentry and building really nice things, but he got layed off long ago. Still know a few people that work there, but its changed, i just dont know how much or what they can do anymore. He's still got some good connections though, ill talk to him about it.
