Well, i haven´t played with the 2510´s that much but i´ve played A LOT with the 2512´s , my electrical it´s a single battery , 4 runs of 0 gauge and a mechman alternator with big3, with the m1b pounding all day long i don´t drop below 12.3v , if i were you, i would try a couple of GREAT batts and big3, don´t think you need an alternator with that electrical. About the box, efficiency is definitely what you need because you don´t have that much power believe it or not, the 2500 series can take 1500 clamped watts without any problems if you have 0 clipping, i would do something like 1.75-1.9 cubic feet and a single 8" aeroport, that should MURDER any car, specially using your cheap 275$ amplifier that gives you more than 2000 watts LOL I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. When you say 4 runs of 0 gauge what does that mean? 4 positives going to the amp with a distribution block? or 2 pos 2 neg and how does it connect to amp at back? and I have done big 3 already. In addition, I have a mercedes, so alternator is up froint and battery is in back. that being said, should I run more than 1 run of 0 gauge form alt to batt? and then how many more batts should I put in back? and which is a good brand/ size for my setup? a new alternator is prolly not gunna happen right now but maybe down the road. mercedes parts are usually very expensive. and for s=my 2510s you recommend 1.75-1.9 per? DD recs 1.5 and thats what I did already for 2 seperate boxes and it sounds awesome. will the aero port be louder than slot port or more efficient? sorry for so many questions. Im jsut trying to finalize my system so I can be done for a while. School is starting back up. I'll be done in april though when I need it to be out to bump in spring! Battery : Kinetik HC2400 Wire: 4 runs of Soundquest 0 gauge, 2 positive and 2 negative, they come from the Kinetik battery to the buss bars on the back, i had 2 batts on the back and that´s why i had the bars but i´m only using a battery on front, so, the 4 runs get to the bars, and from there, i have 1 pos and 1 neg to feed the amplifier. That´s pretty much it i guess, not a big electrical at all for this "challenge" , i´m trying to keed a voltage dropping to a normal application since not everybody has a big ass alternator and 4 runs of wire, i could install the extra 2 batts on the back, but there´s no point since i´m only using small amplifiers Sending you a PM right now...
