Also, i own a Digital Designs M1b that i´ll testing tonight, remember that AQ/DD it´s a father/son company, the AQ1200.1 it´s the same DD m1b amplifier with a few small changes to get the price lower, we are talking about a few parts that makes the m1b a little bit more reliable in theory, but once again, it´s the same amp, so the results i´ll have for this amp it´s probably the same you would get from an AQ1200 I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. Not telling I put my Audiopipe ap1500 through absolute hell for 6 months at .5 ohm. Guess its time for new amp Cone area FTW my friend, i honestly think it´s WAY easier to score higher numbers using more cone area rather than smaller cone area and more power, of course , this depends entirely on the application and if you have the room for a proper box, this 2 12´s box takes almost the entire trunk of a 4 doors explorer, box is 5.6 cubic feet and 3 6" aeros, talk about efficiency I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains. No you are not, you are better!!! i´ve never hit such a good score using a pair of 10´s What car do you have? my box is tuned to 38 hz, plays VERY flat from 35 to 50 hz, once i pass the 50 hz mark, output starts dropping A LOT!! Yes sir, that´s the box i´m using for the clamp tests right now, rise is at 1.4 ohms @ 42 hz where the peak is, i´m clamping also at 38 hz where i have a final impedance of 1.1 ohms I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
