billycarter66 Posted December 5, 2011 Report Share Posted December 5, 2011 Okay i have 2 americanbass dvc 4 ohm subs and 2 american bass svc 4 ohm subs. is there a way i can wire this to one ohm for my amp. 2 american bass 15'' XFLs. brutus2100d. big three and rest of wiring is SHok classic 0. box is 6.8 cft 31 hz. have not metered. Guest Posted December 5, 2011 Report Share Posted December 5, 2011 you cant mix different subs like that. and by different i mean the different voice coils. if you wire them up to the amp, 2 of them will receive more power than the other 2 and it'll cause cancellation and probably make you quieter. edit: but you can use the 2 dual 4 ohm woofers and wire them like this to 1 ohm.
