DudeWith4x4
I recently bought a precision power bp.8 and it didn't seem to work.. But I liked the amount of settings and the knob having the subsonic on it. So my question is what would really help my system? A processor/eq maybe? I've heard that audio control is a good brand. Are their any others? Thanks guys. Quote -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. I am Poncho
i have an audio control EQL, its a nice midlevel EQ. i only used in my last setup to get rid of some of the punch out of my subs in my old setup(had a huge rise in the 50-60hz range) but ill be using it for my mids and highs in my next build. ive never messed around with anything but audio control. so i cant really help you there... i think most people stay away from EQs cause most decent HU have ones built in and they are seen as a SQ thing and possible unnecessary? iunno about that but hope this helps you... DudeWith4x4
Bassaholic- I just thought I could better sound quality and it would cool to tune everything better since my radio doesn't have the best eq in it. Also I liked the fact that the precision power one changed my rcas to 9 volt. Thanks for the info I am poncho. I may end up picking one up. Doesn't the audio control have a bass knob? DJTucker
( MY OPINION & THROUGH MY EXPERIENCES ) ... The best combo of and EQ & Crossover would be the: 1) Clarion EQ746 ( Equalizer ) 2) Clarion MCD-360 ( Crossover ) I won't ever go to another EQ or Crossover... These are amazing!
