Either way, pretty damn sweet, and I really like the build as well, love the creative touch to it. not sure never clamped both. but the 10ks are strappable so running 4 of these to 6 subs will be possible when the 12ks wouldnt be lol thats a huge bitch!!!!!! my bed rails are at 66",and my roof is 94.5" .so my truck wont look as tiny as i thought it would. as soon as this is done and we get some rain, we need to go find a mud hole. no its not terrible lol but its big no getting around that. and yes please haha i have a few friends with straight axle swaps that will join us too lol on todays progress notes....nothing too serious the lift is at a stand still again basically...i need another part i had overlooked because im not that knowledgable when it comes to this suspension shit. but it will hopefully be here by friday (god i hope) so we can have the knuckle machined this weekend (unless the shop happens to have the dimensions for the milling already) but ill order that tomorrow. other than that the only this that can really happen is the shock hoops can be addeds and the plates for the pan hard can be put on and finished then maybe we can get the brake lines taken care of and the drive line started. but we did get the wheel spacers on today haha 5 minutes of work and thats about it. i also cut the wholes out of the door panel thats built so its ready to be sanded...though i didnt get any pics and its at the shop which i just left so im not about to go back tonight haha anyways ill post pics of that thing in the morning. i can stand on it and i weigh 275 pounds so i think it will stand up to the bass now. skyhighcaraudio Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Posted August 19, 2012 its somewhere near done lol if i would have all the parts before i started (that i didnt know about) it would be done already we had to wait 3-4 days over stupid bushings lol i was PISSED! but its close itll be driving out of the garage hopefully wednesday with everything 100% of the way done...may make some minor changed to the suspension later but itll be all done this week... Story time: i just had a conversation with my 65 year old father...he flies into reno on wednesday and he asked if the GMC would be done and if i was going to pick him up in it from the air port. i told him it will probably be done but i dont think he can get in it considering im 22 and dont know how im going to get in it...he said you drive it ill get in it if it kills me lol so i want to be able to do that on wednesday night...but we will see now its time to work on those door panels again...alittle more strength couldnt hurt then its off to finsh the rest of the exhaust. badasschevy Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 i feel your pain on getting it done. little shit you didnt think you needed,and then you do,and then trying to find it. it took me six months of parts collecting. then after i got it under its own weight.little stuff like adapter fittings for the brakes, exhaust, like you're finding out now,gets frustrating.i didnt have a front driveshaft for almost 6 months after i had it driveable.i still dont have the e-brake cables hooked up,the current ones are too short.then after you get it driveable after a couple hundred miles, check everything over. especially your front hubs, pull the caps and make sure everything is tight.i had some abnormal tire wear from the bearings coming loose after 500 miles and not realizing the problem. especially with those military tires you're running. as for your dad getting in the truck, i can let you borrow a 10' ladder so he can get in. lol center console: lvl 4 12 1.75 cu ft tuned 37htz alpine cda-9886 dc audio 120.4 infinity kappa 6.5" components
