Amalan Posted November 21, 2007 Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 well i tried to get my 360 replaced but i guess my warranty is up so i cant and i called microsoft they said the 3 year extended warranty only applies to 360s with the red ring around them so is there a way i can make my 360 get those rings and in a sense ruin it? this seems like my only option. Amalan Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2007 well i called customer support and lied to them i guess lol. i just want my damn network card on the 360 fixed but dont want to pay 100 bucks for it. i called them and they said boot it up and connect to live and tell me what happens i was like uh oh im in deep shit so thank god for google i googled the red lights and it said if 3 red lights flash then its a hardware issue and then i googled what image comes on the screen i assume something would come up on the screen i saw that there was an error code at the bottom so i quickly googled the error code and i got a list of error codes and what each one means http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair/Xbox-...error-codes.htm so i told them that the error code showing up was E 73 and well now i have a box being sent to my house so i can send the xbox for repair. woot woot. Other then that looks like you fooled Microsoft. nah i made sure that when they get it that they would know exactly what was wrong with it. its all written down and they told me i need to write down the reference number on the box plus ill include a paper inside with what exactly is wrong so they can just go directly to testing the network card.
