extremeauto
i got my Mechman back for my 95 Honda passport from being repaired today and i was surpized wen i finaly got it re installed my voltage when i first got it was 13.7 cold and @12 warm with a load .....but now my cold voltage is 15.1 .warmed up i am getting 14.2 and 13.8 warm under a healthy load of 3000+ watts i did have a issue when i got this with low then no voltage...(every1 gets bad parts from time to time)also i may have been part of the reason it failed due to the wrong size ring terminal on the positive output bolt of the alt...but after discussing it with matt we decided to have u ship the right size terminals on some 0 gauge. well it seems to do the trick now i run a 3 extra batts(100 amp hours total and i will be adding more)i am running a hifonics hfi2500.1@2k @0.7 ohms a massive nx4 200x4rms & jensen 400 so i am putting the alt to work ...thanks guys i like the alt very much now! MECHMAN
Thanks for the good word! Glad this one is working out for you, that particular model it is critical to use the proper ring terminal as the connector pad is small. If you need anything you know where to find us. -Eric.
