Starting last night in the middle of songs my amp started cutting out. I have to turn on and off my headunit and it comes back on. Its been fine for about 4 months nothing has changed except recently the remote bass knob was fuckin up so now I just use a rca control. Also when I looked back there later on while it was playing no lights were on. The power and protect are both off whether its playing or not.. what's going on?

spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power

where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

Mine is doing something like that, but mine randomly goes into protect. It just started doing it yesterday & when I turn off the head unit and turn it back on, it turns back on. I just got mine back from dd and it checked out fine! I'm guessing it's in the wiring but I'm not sure anymore!! If it's not one thing it's another!! Good luck!!

set up Alpine 9851, Sundown sax 100.4d, Digital Designs M3A, Incriminator audio components X 2, HCCA Tweeters, 2xDD 3512sc dual .7 coils , H.O 220 amp alt, Optima yellow top under hood, batcap 4000 in the back, Big 3, and all 0 gauge runs. For now but it's never finished!!!

Sounds like you need to get it repaired.......

Trying to avoid that.
